Spring is my favorite time of the year and it is busting out all over here in Texas. Our winters are not too cold, but nevertheless there is a brown, dreariness that sets in after awhile. However, much like life, I suppose it takes those dark dreary moments for us to appreciate the beautiful things that come along. Well, the trees are budding, the fruit trees are blossoming and wildflowers are beginning to emerge. The birds and the bees are busy with all of their spring tasks and there is an element of hope and newness in the air. Every day there is a new color bursting out somewhere and it is so exciting to see God’s handiwork as all the colors begin to emerge on the landscape canvas around us. This is what I love most about living in the country. Even the air is crisp and “smells green” if that is possible!
Our poms seem to know it is Spring too…they are frisky and sometimes a bit testy….you know, who is going to end up with that special stick that is the most important one in the yard! No matter that there are 100 other sticks….this one is SPECIAL! 🙂
They are running for no apparent reason, as if to burn off all that pent up energy from laying around on their nice warm beds during the winter instead of braving the cold. (Sounds good to me! LOL…)
I wish I had their energy to burn off a few calories of my own! I hope you are enjoying this time of year too. We have one more litter coming up in April that will conclude our Spring litters. Keep checking back, and if you would like to have updates as they are born, just send me an email and let me know that you would like to be on our updates email list.
Have a great day!
