Well, more than likely this will be my last entry for this year. Things are piling up and everyone is getting ready for Christmas. Kids are coming home and there will be cooking to do, shopping, eating, cleaning, making a mess, cooking, shopping, eating, making a mess, cleaning, making a mess, cleaning, making a mess….you get the picture! Yes, total chaos, but I look forward to it with such anticipation and never take a moment for granted.
Three of our beautiful little babies will be leaving us next week to spend Christmas with their new families….oh what fun they all will have! Jazzy’s beautiful girls are three of the prettiest we have ever had (I know….I always think that!) but truly they are just stunning and I can’t wait to keep one if she graces us with this kind of beauty next time.
Although the Message of Christmas is filled with Hope, Love and Redemption, it can also be a time filled with loneliness, fear, sadness and grief… I pray that we all find an opportunity to give…be it a friendly gesture, a call, a moment, a letter, food, objects of need, or a random act of kindness to those who cross our paths. Giving a little piece of ourselves to someone else is the greatest gift we can give, or receive, for that matter.
May you all be filled with love, joy and peace…a Peace which surpasses all understanding…until next year!
