THANK YOU!

I just wanted to publicly thank so many of you all for your kindness and patience these last two weeks.  Not only have we had a whole slew of puppies leaving this past week or so, but just in the last two weeks my husband nearly lost a finger in a chain saw injury (lots of trips to the doctor and very intensive hand surgery), my brother had an emergency surgery to remove one of his kidneys, and my dad had a 3 day notice to put in a pacemaker for his heart.  With all of this going on, I am a little behind on my photos and updates and I so appreciate all of the kind words and patience as we have made it through all of this.  Thankfully everyone is on the mend and feeling well!  🙂

Puppies are still going out this week and as always…bittersweet.  This has been one of the nicest groups of puppies we have ever had and we are soooo proud of them and so happy with the wonderful homes they are going to be a part of.

I hope everyone is winding up the summer well and getting ready for the Fall season.  We are anxiously awaiting the first hint of cool air to signal that maybe we will be done with triple digit heat….we are so over it by this time of year!  🙂

Blessings to all….

Whew! We made it!

July 10, 2015

Well we made it through the last two weeks and it is all just a blur.  We have delivered 7 litters, celebrated the 4th of July and two of our granddaughters birthdays with family in the last two weeks.  Throw in there a quick trip to Louisiana and well….there has barely been time to breath.  But I am taking a big “sigh” today and looking at all of these gorgeous little babies scattered throughout our house….we have been immensely blessed by good health of our mamas and gorgeous little babies.  This is the largest number of litters we have ever had give birth in such a short time frame.  And to top it off….only one “middle of the nighter!” I was prepared to lose so much sleep, but my mamas were all so nice to me to give birth mostly in the daytime….I am truly grateful for that!  My sweet husband delivered one all by himself and did a fantastic job.  He and “Muffin” are now forever bonded!  LOL

I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th weekend.  We had lots of fun and company here, but I spent most of the day between two litters being born….made for a very busy day!  We are so blessed in this country to enjoy the freedoms that we have and having a son in the military has given me a new appreciation of the sacrifices that have been made for this country!  Thanks to all of you have been a part of that.

Wishing you all a wonderful & fun summer.

Getting Excited!

June 10, 2015

We have been looking at the calendar and trying to get organized and prepared for all the activity about to explode on us.  We have several litters coming in just a few weeks and they are all due within a 2 week period….it is going to be a busy July and August!  🙂  We should have a vast array of color and some really adorable puppies.  I do have a waiting list already, so if you are interested in a pup from any of the upcoming litters, be sure to fill out my Buyer’s Questionnaire and let me know that you would like to be added to my waiting list.

Hope everyone is enjoying the warm sunshine and eating lots of fresh seasonal veggies!  🙂

Happy Summer to everyone….

Thank you!

June 1, 2015

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has called, texted, or emailed to check on us!  So many thoughtful and caring people…..I have been blown away.  We have had some crazy weather these last two weeks….last week we had a tornado or “microburst” take down 14 tall cedars around our home. The house painting in bergen county nj is always available around the area and House Washing in Pittsburgh PA will be always there to help you in any kind of painting issues.  Three of them were within 30 feet of our house, but amazingly fell in the opposite direction from the house.  These trees were over 40 ft tall, uprooted completely out of the ground ….I have never seen anything like it.  My husband and I were outside when it hit doing some yard work and never even saw or heard it coming. When out of no where a grey wall of water started blowing side ways against us and hail the size of plums was coming down we beelined for the house screaming (not my husband, just me….he was actually hollering at me to slow down so I wouldn’t slide on the concrete and break a leg!  LOL)  We ran in the front door and then went to the window and saw the Swamp Oak Trees laying on the ground….incredible.

No one was hurt and all of our dogs, though scared, were unharmed.  We were very fortunate to say the least….We had some roof damage and damage to our cars, but overall it is a miracle that we have sorted out such issue. You can also see more to have to improve your home.

We are in the middle of cleaning it up now and that alone is a daunting task. I so appreciate all of you who were checking on us with the flooding and winds and torrential rains.  We have heard some very sad stories from other families and we continue to pray for them.

I hope all of you are staying safe and dry.  We needed the rain, but wow….this is the 2nd wettest May in the history of the area and the ground is so saturated…hoping for a little bit of a dry spell!

We are welcoming June and the official start of Summer….hope you all have some great plans for some time off this summer!  Stay dry and safe!
