Well, summer is officially here and hot as blazes in Texas. I can’t imagine 3 more months of this heat but somehow we get through every year! I am so grateful for air conditioning!
All of our little guys from Missy’s litter have found their forever homes and we are left with Ellie’s three cutie pies. (Only two currently available).
These three pups are some of the cutest we have had and are exceeding our expectations of this breeding. Please see available page for latest updates.
We are expecting Heidi’s litter in just a couple of weeks and we are getting more excited each day. She is busting at the seams and really slowing down in this heat. She likes to “hang out” close to me in the air conditioning and I can so relate! This is a first time breeding with this pair so we are looking forward with great anticipation to this birth.
We have several other breedings planned for this year, so be sure to keep checking back if you are looking for a lifetime of unconditional love and companionship from one of the sweetest animals alive!
Hope you are enjoying some wonderful things this summer!
SUMMER IS HERE
BLESSINGS ON MEMORIAL DAY
May 25, 2008
Wishing you all blessings on Memorial Day as we remember and reflect upon all those who have given of their time, talents and even their lives to enable all of us to enjoy the freedoms we share in America. One of our sons is amongst those currently serving and we are so grateful for his willingness and desire to serve this country and protect everything we love here.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend of fun, family, friends and relaxation…
It is hard to “relax” around here with four VERY active little puppies wanting to explore everything new all of the time. Missy’s puppies will be 8 weeks old this week and getting very close to joining their new families. This is the stage we call the “teen” stage…..we love ’em to death, but give a big sigh of gratitude when they are sleeping! We hate to see them go, but at the same time we are grateful that each of them will have individual “people” time with their new families to enjoy some of that energy! “grin”
Seriously, they are all so adorable and they are starting to bond with us and that makes it so difficult to part with them. They like to follow you around and get right under your feet. When I stop, they stop. When I go, they go….It is so cute. We are so grateful for the families who have chosen to adopt them and that makes us feel good. We have three more little ones coming up who will just be 5 weeks old on Tuesday, so we are getting ready for another round!
Have a great weekend!
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
May 8, 2008
I just wanted to take the opportunity to say Happy Mother’s Day to all of you moms. Even if you don’t have children of your own, most of you “moms” have mothered something in your lifetime! Maybe children, maybe other people’s children, maybe pets, or even friends!
I have four wonderful children of my own who are mostly grown now, but I just couldn’t get “mothering” out of my blood, so now I’m a “pom-mom”!
I wish you all a special blessing and a wonderful day for all that you do, all that you have done, and all that you will do….
The world would be a much less lovely place without all of the mothers who are always there, always available, and always “being a mom”. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
MISSY’S LITTER
May 5, 2008
Almost all of Missy’s boys have found wonderful homes. Only our little Winston is left, but he is so adorable with those big beautiful eyes, I know he will find his forever home soon.
They are all changing daily now….their coats are coming in and getting longer and fluffier each day and they are becoming more and more playful and curious. They are eating solids and almost weaned, although they still prefer mom whenever she will tolerate them still nursing. I feel like the longer she lets them nurse, the better off they will be….mom’s milk has to be very good for them. Their little personalities are starting to emerge and all of them are so unique.
We will hate to see them go in a few weeks, but we are so grateful to know they are going to wonderful homes.
