October 29, 2008
Emma, our beautiful orange sable, and Urbie, our gorgeous platinum male, have given us four beautiful babies today, October 29, 2008 (or should I say last night!)….one is very small and we are keeping an eye on him. She has three boys, two fantastic merle boys and one black with white markings. The little black female is already spoken for, but the males are still available. I will have pictures and more info posted on the available page soon…right now I am going back to bed to try and recover a full night’s sleep lost! (but it was worth it!) “grin”
EMMA’S BABIES HAVE ARRIVED
EMMA ABOUT TO POP
October 27, 2008
Our beautiful orange sable, “Emma”, is about to pop. She is getting so fat. It is fun to feel the babies moving inside her at this stage. She is obviously getting very uncomfortable and wanting to stay very close to “mom”, so we feel like she is getting closer to delivery. We started taking temps today and will try to post progress if her temperature begins to drop.
We are expecting beautiful babies from this girl and hope to keep one ourselves.
Hope you are enjoying the nice fall weather and the changing of leaves… (yes, we have a *few* fall colors here in Texas and have to make a big deal of the ones we have! “grin”)
BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE
October 12, 2008
I love this time of year when the weather is beginning to change and there is a glimmer of hope for some cooler weather for us here in Texas. There is a sharpness in the early morning air and a freshness that is new. It is almost like the trees and the animals are as happy as I am about the prospect of Fall just around the corner.
I was up before dawn the other day (a magical time) and I saw the glow of orange on the horizon hinting that the sun was hidden somewhere under this glowing canopy. This magnificent orange glow turned to vivid, swirling, flourescent colors of orange, pink and yellow just before the glow suddenly focused into the edge of a burning orange ball and just before the sun made its appearance, a ray of light shot straight upwards towards the heavens and then widened as a fierce burning ball peeked over the horizon. It was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. I am adding some photos I took of this to my photo rotations, so maybe you will get to see it! It made me want to burst into singing “How Majestic is your Name in all the Earth”!
I hope you are all enjoying the Fall and preparing for the holiday days ahead.
All of our babies are gone now, except for Blaze. We don’t expect to have him long, but we are enjoying him while we can. He is at such a fun age now.
Our beautiful girl Emma is pregnant and we are looking forward to some beautiful babies from her. She is due Oct. 30th, so keep checking back and we will keep you posted on her progress.
BELLA & BENTLEY GOING HOME
October 7, 2008
Bella & Bentley will be going to their new homes tomorrow. They are ready to join their new families and will bring such joy and love. Both are such sweethearts and extraordinarily beautiful as well. We will miss them so much, but know they will just love all the attention and fuss being just on them! They are going to wonderful families where they will be very special indeed!
