I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and celebrated love with a special person or an adorable little furbaby. Several of you sent me pictures of your puppies in Valentine “attire” and I so appreciate it! They were adorable!
I believe love is one of the universal elements of our soul that must be continuously outwardly expressed through our own thoughts and actions. Love is one of those inexplainable wonders that increases only as it is freely given.
Our newest little babies are all getting to be so adorable and as usual I am getting very attached. They are all so vulnerable and dependent right now and so responsive to affection. They are beginning to test the waters though, and they are beginning to assert themselves as their little personalities begin to emerge. I have gotten behind on my photos, but I will be working on that today. Have a great one!

Having raised four children, it is interesting to me how similar the stages of life are in humans and dogs. We have puppies in the infant stage, toddler stage, and I would even venture to say the infamous “teen stage”! LOL Seriously, the little toddler stage is so cute and their personalities are starting to come out. The ones with more dominant personalities are asserting themselves and the others either give it right back or shy away.

If they shy away that makes them an immediate target! Well, they will get their revenge at a later moment when it is least expected! I love to watch them at this age. Missy’s little boys are so adorable and getting so playful. Will is leaving us this week and it is always hard to let them go. He is one of our favorites too, but he will be joining a wonderful couple in New Jersey and he is very lucky to have them. We will have lots of puppies this Spring, so if you would like to be receiving updates, just send me an email and let me know. We will be very busy in “puppyland”!

It is fridgedly cold in most parts of the US today, and even here in Texas it is cold, but not quite frigid yet. The closest we will get to snow is our imagination and our little “snow bunny” babies from Missy & Taz remind us of little polar bears, so we’ll take what we can get…”grin”
They will all be 8 weeks old this week and they are the tiniest things I have ever seen. It is really hard to imagine that they are truly 8 weeks old! The tiniest one has not even reached a one pound in weight yet, but they are running and trying to play with the older pups! Missy gave us some very tiny puppies last litter, but I had no idea that she and Taz would produce such teeny little fluffballs together.
We have two new litters on the ground, so keep checking back….I will try to have pictures soon. I know many of you are waiting for the pics….our newest litter born this week was four boys and one girl….AGAIN! I don’t know why we are having so many males, there must be something in the water! “grin”
They are really beautiful though. Crystal gave us two white parti’s (male), one black and white parti (male), one gorgeous dark sable (male) and a beautiful tiny merle girl.

Wow…I haven’t written ’09 very much yet….it still seems almost impossible that we could be 9 years into this century already. With Christmas and New Year holidays behind us, I feel like we are off to the races this year….
We have lots of puppies and have been doing lots of “puppy tending”. It is a lot of fun, but SO much work! I feel like I have toddlers again and so many diapers to change! “grin”
Five of our babies are going home this week and we will miss them terribly, as we start to get attached even when we try so hard not to. My daughter has been home from college and she will miss them the most I think! We are so happy about where they are going and that makes it much easier.
We have some GORGEOUS little white boys available right now…some of the prettiest we have ever had. We are expecting two new litters by February as well. Be sure to let me know if you are interested in a particular puppy or breeding. We have a very busy Spring planned and then we will be taking a break for a little while, so if you are considering adding a new addition to your home, this is a great time.
Dog World magazine will be featuring the Pomeranian breed in their April issue, so be sure to look for it in the stands in March. Pomeranians are the best!
