BEAUTIFUL VIDEO
LEILA’S PUPPIES ARE HERE
Nov. 30, 2010
Leila was kind enough to wait until the chaos of Thanksgiving was over and most of the dishes were washed and put away. She gave birth yesterday after a very long day of labor, to three darling new babies. Firstborn was a little black male, second a gorgeous dark cream or beaver male….will depend on the point colors coming in… and last but not least, a stunning chocolate merle female….only the second one like her to be born here. I will have pictures posted in a few days. Mom and babies are doing fantastic and Leila is so proud of herself as she always is. These babies will not be ready for new homes until after the holidays. We are so proud of you Leila!
SEASON OF THANKS
Nov. 16, 2010
Wow, when I sat down to write today I couldn’t believe how long it has been since I have written….it has been a busy time these last few weeks! This is one of my favorite times of the year with the obvious season changes (ok, I know….I’m talking lower than 80 degrees and a few trees showing a glimpse of color if you really look hard). We are not graced with the beautiful array of colors that some parts of our country have, but we will be grateful for what we get! π
I love the cool breeze in the mornings and evenings, and the sunsets this time of year are breathtaking. There is just a stir in the air that tells us that change is happening. I love that feeling and the anticipation of the first fire in the fireplace. There is something about having a warm glow in the middle of your abode and sitting down with a nice cup of hot tea….somehow it warms my soul.
I always like to take stock this time of year and reflect back on the busyness and “happenings” of the year thus far and to remember all of the things that I am grateful for. I can always remember the things I am NOT grateful for with ease, but there is just something about changing perspective in your mind and choosing to be thankful for things that sometimes we take for granted. Perspective is everything and I am always amazed at how it then changes my “vision” for the future…..
We have been truly blessed this year in many ways, including a vast array of adorable little furballs that come in every size and color. I never cease to be amazed at the process of “life” from conception to birth and how fast these little creatures grow and learn.
I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and please know how grateful I am to all the wonderful friends I have made through this business and all of you who are so supportive and encourage me in so many ways! You are awesome. Thanks for sharing with me in the love for this precious breed and their sweet temperament.
I hope you all have a wonderful time with family and friends and your special little furballs that love you ALL the time…and with such adoration! π
BABIES ARE GETTING STRONGER
October 19, 2010
No matter how many litters we have, it is always so much fun to see the sluggish, fat, little babies begin to emerge into playful little pups with their very own personality. Our moms are so intense in their care of their babies, and they have so much milk, that the babies are just like little “slugs” for a few weeks….all they do is sleep & eat!
As they approach 3-4 weeks, they are beginning to play and interact with each other and mom….you begin to see who is dominant or shy, who is cautious or adventuresome…it is amazing to see how much personality these little pups can have.
Crystal’s babies just turned 3 weeks old last Sunday, and they are transforming like little butterflies, almost overnight, into the most adorable little lovebugs….I love the transformation in their coats… Crystal always surprises us with unusual color combinations and this litter is particularly beautiful and interesting.
If you are looking for the sweetest, most loyal companion, then a pomeranian is for you….I have never known such adoring animals….just be prepared…if you get one, you will want more! LOL As always, email us or call if you have any questions about our current litters or want to see extra photos.
I hope you have a terrific, beautiful, Fall day!
