ALWAYS THE UNEXPECTED

We had an unexpected death in our extended family last week so please forgive me for not keeping up with my photos this week. I have to go out of town again tomorrow for a few days, so I won’t be able to catch up over the weekend, but I will be dedicating next week to getting all the pups up to date with photos and weights, etc.

I will be totally accessible via my phone, so please do not hesitate to call if you are interested in any of our new babies, or for any reason.

Thanks so much….

CRYSTAL’S BABIES ARE HERE

We are very excited to announce the birth of Crystal & Jack’s new babies. She was a few days early and delivered four gorgeous pups on Sunday night, April 3rd. She had three males: one beautiful light orange parti, and two light creams. She had one female, a very beautiful clear light orange. I should have a litter picture up today and individual pictures up by next week.

Mom and babies are doing great and babies are already gaining at lightening speed.

This litter concludes our bountiful Spring litters. We may have one or two breedings through the summer, but we hope to be breeding this summer for some beautiful Fall litters. We have a couple of new moms we will be introducing and we will be retiring a few females this summer.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG

Spring is my favorite time of the year and it is busting out all over here in Texas. Our winters are not too cold, but nevertheless there is a brown, dreariness that sets in after awhile. However, much like life, I suppose it takes those dark dreary moments for us to appreciate the beautiful things that come along. Well, the trees are budding, the fruit trees are blossoming and wildflowers are beginning to emerge. The birds and the bees are busy with all of their spring tasks and there is an element of hope and newness in the air. Every day there is a new color bursting out somewhere and it is so exciting to see God’s handiwork as all the colors begin to emerge on the landscape canvas around us. This is what I love most about living in the country. Even the air is crisp and “smells green” if that is possible!

Our poms seem to know it is Spring too…they are frisky and sometimes a bit testy….you know, who is going to end up with that special stick that is the most important one in the yard! No matter that there are 100 other sticks….this one is SPECIAL! πŸ™‚

They are running for no apparent reason, as if to burn off all that pent up energy from laying around on their nice warm beds during the winter instead of braving the cold. (Sounds good to me! LOL…)

I wish I had their energy to burn off a few calories of my own!  I hope you are enjoying this time of year too. We have one more litter coming up in April that will conclude our Spring litters. Keep checking back, and if you would like to have updates as they are born, just send me an email and let me know that you would like to be on our updates email list.

Have a great day!

NESSIE’S BABIES ARE HERE

Spring is a time of New Beginnings, and we definitely have a lot of “new beginnings” around here! πŸ™‚

Nessie is one of my Poms that I co-own and she lives with her other owner. She gave birth this week to three beautiful pups….two males, one black and one gorgeous blue merle parti, and one female merle who is a very intersting color….maybe chocolate merle, maybe red or cream….too early to tell yet, but very interesting. All are doing well and I will get pictures up soon. I will have the pups here with me after they are weaned. We are SO proud of Nessie. This was her first litter and she is the BEST mom! She had a very quick and perfect delivery and did great!

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather and temperatures as much as I am. I wish it could be like this all the time….so nice.
