Well, we couldn’t be prouder of all our beautiful babies born this past week and a half. The moms had more babies than we were expecting and surprised us with some really fun and lovely colors.
All of our babies and moms are doing so well and the babies are thriving. We started our moms on some new holistic, natural food this year and I attribute their nice litters and vigorous health in part to the new food. We are very pleased with the visible results in their coats and now their litters as well. The new food is Life’s Abundance and we have become field reps for the food to make it available to anyone else who is also interested in trying a new food for their furbabies. We will have information up on our website soon about it, but if you are interested before then, just email and I will give you more info on it.
These pups will be ready for their new homes mid to late August. We are looking forward to a fun and busy summer and my granddaughter and nieces and nephews will have lots of puppies to play with too!
I hope you are enjoying your summer and as always, let me know if you see a special pup that tugs on your heart!
BEAUTIFUL BABIES THIS SUMMER
CRAZY WEEK
June 25, 2011
This has been an incredibly busy week with many sleepless nights! But, ahhhh, the joys of being a Pom Mom. We had three litters born within a 24 hour period and between my husband and I we felt like we were running a maternity ward!
I always get super nervous with the moms in labor but a triple just about did me in! LOL
Frequently the females will come into season around the same time, so it is not unusual to have two or three due within a few weeks, but this was a first for us! One was late and the other two were early, and the moon must have been shining just right because as I was dealing with Leila and in the middle of birthing, he announces that BB and Priscilla are acting “strange”! Well, those are the telling words, and within minutes BB was in her whelping box and within 15 minutes had delivered her first baby! It was extremely stressful as then Priscilla began nesting in her whelping box and continued through the night as Leila and BB finished up with theirs….I can truly look back and laugh now….whew, what a night! But I can tell you….it was nerve wrecking and I am just so glad all babies are here and moms are doing fantastic! Absolutely gorgeous bunch of newbies and I can’t wait to share photos this week. Everyone is resting and bonding this weekend, but I’ll get photos and information up this week.
Thanks to all of you who follow my website and have sent such sweet and encouraging words for all my new babies….I really appreciate it SO much!
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY
June 18, 2011
I want to wish all those Fathers out there a very special day.
It is tough to be a Dad these days with lots of responsibility and hard work. We appreciate you!
Our beautiful girl, Baylee, was due to have her litter on Father’s Day, but decided to have them early. She had a gorgeous litter of pups this week on Wednesday. I will be sending out an announcement with a litter picture tomorrow and hopefully get individual pics up sometime this week. Mom and babies are all doing well. It is a rainbow of colors and one of the prettiest litters she has had.
Enjoy your weekend and try to stay cool!
